Scuba diving — West End
Easy boat dives on West End's reef, run from a shop on the strip
Float high above Roatán's turquoise water for a bird's-eye view of the coast.

Parasailing is one of the simplest ways to see Roatán from above, and we arrange it with the parasail crew working the beach. Plan on about an hour for the whole outing, with roughly 10 to 12 minutes of that up in the air. You're strapped into a harness under a large, colorful canopy, a boat tows you out, and you rise gently until the beach, the reef and the green hills spread out beneath you.
Up there it's quiet and the breeze is steady. You don't need any experience: the crew handles the launch and the landing, and all you do is sit back and look around. It suits couples, friends and families who want a little excitement without anything strenuous, and at about an hour it fits easily into a beach day. We'll book your spot and confirm the details before you go.
